OK, to start searching a word, term or phrase in a PDF document you have to go to
Edit → Search on the menu bar, enter Shift+Ctrl+F on your keyboard or by clicking the Search button on the toolbar.
Either way you'll arrive to a dialog like this:
What's interesting about searching in PDF documents with Nuance PDF Reader is that you can search in several ways: In the already opened PDF document by entering the term keyword or phrase you are looking for in the “Search for” box and selecting “Current document” in the “Look in” box:
Click “Search” and you´ll get a clickable list of results in the panel below:
Pretty nice, huh? What is more, you can also search in your folders containing PDF documents by selecting “Selected folder” in the “Look in” box, this will make the “Specify a folder:” box available, here you can select any folder by choosing “Browse” at the end of the menu.
An explorer like dialog will open where you can select the folder you want to search in.
Again, you'll get a clickable list of the search results, but in this case results will be arranged by file in a tree format.
